PLAYFUL PERFORMANCES IN A PROFESSIONAL SETTING

Our program is for novice to pre-professionals ages 8-21. Our aim is to create an enriching, professional, inclusive and FUN environment for young performers to develop their craft.

We focus on teaching the fundamentals of musical theatre, including vocals, musical theatre dance, and acting, all led by our professional staff.

Passion, diligence, and a sense of community are at our core, and we intend for our artists to gain the tools to support and develop their talents in our performances and beyond.

OUR NEXT EXCITING PRODUCTION IS COMING SOON...

PERFORMANCE

HTC typically casts roles for main stage productions using students at the middle and high school level. This is a rare and amazing opportunity for students to work alongside professional adult actors and directors. When new emerging talent rubs elbows with our established members and our highly accomplished equity guest performers, a special electricity is generated that is uniquely ours.

APPRENTICESHIPS

We offer internships to high school and college students in both production and administration. Interns work side-by-side with industry professionals to receive practical training in technical theatre or administrative management. We ask for nothing more than a willingness to work hard and high standards of performance. In return, interns are treated as members of our professional staff and receive intensive hands-on experience. Please contact us for more information.

WORKSHOPS

Workshops provide a voice to each student, and tools they can take with them and use all their life. Familiarity with these tools is necessary for a successful performer, but the skills learned in the acting component also translate directly into the workplace and everyday life. Students not only build a solid foundation in the arts, but they also build self-confidence, self-esteem, communication skills, and have fun discovering and exploring their talents!
