The Holmdel Theatre Company offers dedicated middle school and high school theater students a chance to work alongside our skilled team of artists in a professional setting. Whether on the stage or behind the scenes, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of actors, directors, designers and stage crew.

There are many exciting opportunities for Holmdel High School students to become part of our 2010 season. We will be casting some roles in each of our three main stage productions from students at the high school level. This is a rare and amazing opportunity for students to work alongside professional equity adult actors and directors. We will also be looking for assistant stage managers, running crew, lighting board operators and many other technical positions for students interested in apprenticeships.

HTC is excited to introduce two actor workshops specifically designed for high school students aged 13 to 19 who would like to study their craft under the tutelage of professional actors and directors. These workshops are being offered free of charge in accordance with our mission to provide opportunities to committed young students of the theater. No audition is necessary.

Our True Story Project has been designed in conjunction with Visible Theatre in New York. Our program is specifically for young artists. Based on 9 years of creating and performing True Story Project, our experimental approach is simple, straightforward and profound. We share stories, we connect, we play - we leave transformed and education.
